Join Early Education

Early Education acts as an independent voice for the rights of families and children to the highest quality care and educational experiences. It has members from all sectors of the early years and provides targeted, cutting edge training using the full range of experience of academics, practitioners, policy makers and consultants. Early Education is also committed to working with local authorities to assist them in the implementation of the Childrens Agenda for the early years. It offers evidence-based, policy relevant and child focussed advice to a range of staff working to raise standards for our youngest children.

Early Educations objectives and main activities are to:

  • provide a national voice on early childhood education, advising central and local government and the media
  • acknowledge and encourage partnership and involvement with families
  • disseminate information about national initiatives through training, publications and the website
  • offer information, advice, guidance and consultancy to develop high quality integrated services for young children and families
  • organise training courses, conferences and seminars
  • manage major projects on key national issues
  • support a network of branches and regional networks throughout the UK
  • publish material on early childhood education and child development
  • produce a termly journal Early Education and newsletter Integrate
  • maintain a historic archive and library
  • maintain a comprehensive website.

An annual individual subscription provides members with:

  • information and support
  • the journal Early Education three times a year
  • the Early Education newsletter News three times a year
  • timely e-news bulletins keeping you up to date with the latest initiatives that affect you, your practice and your early childhood setting
  • access to a local branch network
  • reduced rates at Early Education training, conferences, seminars and branch events

Group membership provides settings with:

  • information and support
  • multiple copies of the journal Early Education three times a year
  • multiple copies of the Early Education newsletter News three times a year
  • timely e-news bulletins keeping you up to date with the latest initiatives in early childhood education
