About Birmingham Branch
Birmingham branch supports all those working in early childhood education in Birmingham as well as colleagues from neighbouring areas. Information is sent by email to all primary schools, nursery schools/centres as well as private, voluntary and independent early education settings for whom we have contact details. Members receive information by post.
The branch meets approximately 5 times a year. Twice in the autumn and spring terms and once in the summer term. We generally have outside speakers but also run sessions delivered by our own members with particular specialist knowledge. Meetings are held in schools and settings around the city.
Throughout the year, we have a number of training courses running in Birmingham, and the branch hosted the 2018 Annual National Conference on the 11th and 12th May. For more information about what happened at the event, please visit the dedicated conference page.
