Developing Creative and Expressive Uses of Digital Media in the Early Years Classroom

Aims and objectives:

This course explores the creative and expressive uses of digital media in 1-1 and collaborative contexts.  Rich examples and case studies will be explored that use a range of free or inexpensive apps and digital hardware to explore children's hypotheses, their interests and thinking about the world.

  • Learn about enquiry with digital media
  • Discover how a blended approach can lead to richer and more complex learning with digital media and hardware
  • Leave with ideas to try out and test in your own classroom
  • See how this can look like when working with young children with rich examples and case studies from everyday practice.

Audience:  All educators and leaders working in ECE interested in finding out more about how to use digital media in creative and expressive ways with children.
