Early identification and intervention, a whole setting approach; including understanding early childhood development and key theories

Delegates will have opportunities to:

  • Gain an overview of recent legislation and guidance in relation to early identification and intervention in inclusive settings.
  • To understand the importance of child development and theory in relation to recognising children’s individual needs.
  • To understand and share the importance and impact of effective whole setting approaches to observation and personalized approaches to learning and development.
  • To be able to support and develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of all setting based practitioners in carrying out their roles in early identification and taking action for their key children.
