Implementing the WISH Project: Writing in the Early Years Setting and Home

Aims and objectives - Delegates will have opportunities to:

  • Explore the potential for partnership working between practitioners and with parents and/or carers to support children’s developing writing skills;
  • Scrutinise, consider, and apply the implementation and outcomes of the original WISH project from 2017;
  • Apply principles [of WISH] to current setting practice to develop your own WISH project.

For this course, settings will be offered a half day follow-up visit to report on the progress and refine the success of implementing their own project.

Audience: Early Years Literacy Co-ordinators and Whole setting practitioner teams
