Having worked with many schools and settings in a variety of circumstances over the years, Kym has a proven track record of helping leaders and practitioners to raise the quality of their EYFS provision and thereby improve outcomes for children. Through this work she has identified six key elements that are fundamental to improving teaching, learning and outcomes in the EYFS.
During this day Kym will unpick these and share examples of what excellence in each of them looks like in practice, as well as exploring key research and theory behind each element. Part of this day will include delegates reflecting on practice back in their own settings and identifying areas for development linked to these key elements. A framework to support the continuation of this work back in the setting will be provided.
Above all, delegates will leave feeling inspired and reinvigorated to make developments back in their own settings!
This course would also be useful for EYFS practitioners at any level wishing to evaluate and develop their practice.
