Course outline:


To review the EYFS aspects of Physical Development and what this means in practice


By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Enjoy the benefits of movement
  • Remind ourselves why it is important
  • Healthy eating with the Nutrikids characters
  • Consider effective teaching strategies
  • Keep child development to the fore
  • Implement throughout all parts of the daily routine

This will allow participants to review and reflect on:

  • Gross motor skills
  • Fine motor skills
  • Body awareness
  • Personal care

Audience: EY Practitioners working with children birth – 60+ months, PVI settings/schools, Childminders, Parents, Independent and maintained schools
