Talking together: Improving practitioner skills in supporting children’s communication and language development

Delegates will have opportunities to:

  • Understand how the ways adults communicate can support or hinder children’s growing abilities as communicators
  • Consider examples of sensitive interaction styles- ‘top tips for talking’
  • Explore how peer coaching, peer reflection and paired video reflection can provide a framework for professionals to learn together, becoming more knowledgeable, skilful and reflective practitioners
