This workshop will be a combination of theory and basic mindfulness practices. Staff will learn what Mindfulness is, the science and research behind it, its benefits and how to begin to put Mindfulness theory into practice in their everyday lives. This will include practical ideas of how to develop your personal practice in your classroom.

• Y4K- Yoga for Kids - Alison Hughes
Yoga is a wonderful way to help us take care of our bodies, hearts and minds and gives all of us the resources to lead happier, healthier lives. Join me on the mat and enjoy our short journey together.
Please wear comfortable , loose clothes.
• Sensory experiences outside - Tamsin Wotherspoon
We will be looking at senses and the power of our nose and the different feelings smells can evoke! We will create a magic potion that has the ability to change someone’s feelings with just one sniff! We can make them feel like jumping up and down or curling up on a chair and relaxing.
Delegates are asked to bring warm clothing suitable for outside activities
