Jasmine Pasch

Jasmine Pasch

Early Education Associate

Freelance Movement Practitioner Jasmine Pasch currently works in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Brent with babies, toddlers, young children and their families, and supports early years educators to develop their understanding of the particular developmental, learning and play needs of this age group in both indoor and outdoor environments. Jasmine ran the successful “Wiggly Jigglers” at Rich Mix Cultural Foundation where infants just a few weeks old through to boisterous toddlers approaching their second birthday came together to move and play freely, to explore and experiment with open-ended play things, but most importantly to communicate and play with their family members. The conversations that happen here are unspoken, rich and wonderfully expressive. Trained as a professional dancer, teacher and counsellor Jasmine has worked across the arts, health and education sectors for over thirty years, and has written several pieces for publication, including: Physical Wellbeing: Autonomy, Exploration and Risk taking in Exploring Wellbeing in the Early Years by Julia Manning-Morton, published in 2014, a chapter with Karen Adcock-Doyle called Laying the Foundations in Miranda Tufnell’s book, When I Open My Eyes, published in 2016, an article “What happens when we move and play together with our infants” for the Spring 2017 issue of the Early Education journal, and a chapter called "From Couch Potatoes to Runner Beans" in Moving Right from the Start for the Pre-School Learning Alliance in 2018.
