Transition and Integration


Elaine will talk about the importance of collaborative working and sharing information to support each child’s development.

She will talk about the importance of integrated working for all children especially disadvantaged 2 year olds.

She will share what inspectors are looking for when considering quality provision and moderation.

Speaker Bios: 

Elaine White has worked in Ofsted since 2002, where she specialises in early years regulation and inspection.  She has inspected across early years, social care and local authority children’s services. Elaine began her professional career working in a primary school in Halifax, West Yorkshire which was an area of significant disadvantage.

Elaine is a Senior Her Majesty’s Inspector for Ofsted in the North West Region.
