Being 1, 2 and 3 years old

This is an opportunity to gain a full understanding about the needs of our youngest children in your setting.

The course will explore brain development, levels of involvement, environments, adult interactions and ‘planning in the moment’.   

During the session participants will be introduced to brain development as a means of understanding how progress happens for our youngest children.

Using photographs and video of a Children’s Centre the trainer will explain why enabling environments and quality interactions ensure young children develop and learn appropriately.

Delegates will have opportunities to:
• explore how ‘planning in the moment’ supports and extends children and how using ‘levels of involvement’ ensures progress happens at all levels
