Monica Wiltshire provides training and consultancy for early years practitioners in the United Kingdom and Sweden. Her previous positions include Head of a Children’s Centre, Inspector for Children’s Services and a Consultant Trainer for HighScope UK. She is the author of Understanding the HighScope Approach – Early Years Education in Practice, which is one in a series of six books on the key pedagogical approaches to early childhood education published by Routledge in 2012. Following many years of working with early years practitioners, Monica is steadfast in her belief that all children deserve a well thought through, coherent curriculum based on active learning and child development with informed, caring adults. She is delighted to be working with Sam Bourne and shares her passion to promote healthy eating at an early age with the Nutrikids characters. “If it’s good for Connie Carrot, it’s good for children, families and society!”
