Venues

We currently have three main venues for our training.

London

136 Cavell Street, London E1 2JA - nearest tube: Whitechapel  Link to Google maps

Most training courses take place in our London offices where we have a small comfortable training room, and while here you can take the opportunity to browse our publications or talk to the team about other aspects of our work.

Larger events in London will take place in off-site venues.

North East England

Focus on Learning, Albany Teaching & Learning Centre, Crossgill, Washington, Tyne & Wear  NE37 1UA  Link to Google maps

We are partnering with small independent training provider Focus on Learning to offer some of our courses in the North of England.  Their training centre offers well-resourced training rooms, and delicious catering.  It also includes regularly changing displays to provide delegates with ideas of low-cost ways to create your own learning environments and inspire you with ideas of what you could do in your own setting.  Copies of Early Education publications are available for sale on site.

Our next events in Tyne & Wear are:

31st January 2017 - Schemas and the 2-year-old with Stella Louis

3rd March 2017 - Leading excellence in the early years: a conference for primary headteachers and leaders with Anne O'Connor, Helen Moylett and Ruth Moore

17th March 2017 - Leadership in the early years with Fiona Kemp

Cardiff

Ely & Caerau Children’s Centre, Michaelston Road, Ely, Cardiff  CF5 4SX  Link to Google maps

We are partnering with Ely & Caerau Children's Centre (ECCC) to deliver our training in Wales. The ECCC receives hundreds of visitors each year from the UK and abroad as the Foundation Phase practice is widely recognised as exemplary. They are an integrated centre offering childcare, maintained nursery education, parent/community groups and partner groups all working together. Delegates will have an opportunity to view the provision while attending courses.

Our next course in Cardiff is:

10th February 2017 - Effective planning and assessment in the Foundation Phase with Penny Cartwright
