Terms and conditions of bookings

If you are booking on a course, please note the following:

Online event bookings and recordings

Once bookings for online events are confirmed, the named delegate(s) will receive a welcome email with login details for our eLearning platform: they will need to login with these details to access the course content, including the live webinar.

Please note that our online events may be recorded, so in order to participate you must agree to being part of that recording. If you do not wish to be identifiable, you may choose to keep your audio and video turned off and to amend the name field displayed so that your name is not visible. However, by keeping your audio and video turned off, you may restrict your ability to participate in the event. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to the event to discuss these and how we can accommodate them.

Changes to the advertised programme

We will endeavour to run all courses as advertised, but reserve the right if necessary to make changes to the advertised programme, including change of speaker, change of date or venue, or cancellation. Where we have to cancel a course, eg because of insufficient bookings, we will give you a choice of transferring your booking to an alternative course, or receiving a full refund. We regret that we cannot be responsible for any costs incurred in relation to the booking of travel or accommodation related to the course.

Joining instructions for face-to-face courses

Joining instructions for face to face courses will be sent by email approximately two weeks before the course to the email address provided on booking.

Access and dietary requirements

Where available, catering will always include vegetarian options. Please inform us in advance of any other dietary requirements.

Please inform us of any access requirements.

Payment terms

Payment must normally be made by credit/debit card for sums below £30.  For orders over £30, organisations may request an invoice by providing a purchase order number and payment may be made by cheque or bank transfer. In all cases, payment should be made a full day before the course date.

If you want to cancel a booking

If you have booked a place on a course and subsequently wish to cancel this, please notify us in writing (eg by email). Refunds will only be paid as follows:

  • up to two weeks before the event: refund of course fees less an administration fee of 25% of the total
  • two weeks or less before the event: no refunds

Substitutions

If the named delegate is not able to attend, a substitution may be made at any time. Please inform us in advance of the substitute’s name and any change to dietary or access requirements.

For any other queries about your booking, please contact the office (see foot of webpage for contact details).
